Tribute Fund

Your gift to the Tribute Fund is a way for you to recognize a special occasion and/or person. It can be a job promotion, presentation of the Eagle Award or the Silver Beaver Award, a birthday or anniversary, a Bar Mitzvah or confirmation, or to honor the memory of a friend or family member. All Tribute gifts are placed in the council’s endowment fund as a perpetual source of support for the Katahdin Area Council unless the donor designates a specific purpose for the gift. A Tribute gift can be in any amount. Gifts over $750 can memorialized on the Memorial Wall at Camp Roosevelt. Please call for details.
Upon receipt of your gift, you will receive an acknowledgement card for tax purposes. The person or family receives a card in your name from the Katahdin Area Council, BSA with no amount mentioned. In addition, the tribute will appear in The Wangan, the council’s newsletter.
