I just got elected by my Troop!! What do I do?
Congratulations on your candidacy. Your fellow Scouts have recognized you for this honor because you have demonstrated that you exemplify the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law in your daily life. Being recognized by your fellow Scouts is the first step in becoming a member of the Order of the Arrow. The step is to begin your induction process.
This will test your camping ability, physical stamina, and mental fortitude. You may have heard rumors about the induction, but I assure you that you have nothing to fear. With true spirit and strength of heart, you will have no problem passing this time of testing. It will be a very meaningful and challenging experience.
